Vets Corner
More than 47,000 Americans died due to hostile action in Vietnam. Over 9 million served on active duty during Vietnam. Most of these who fought, died or was wounded and served, were Baby Boomers. Incredibly, many of these Baby Boomers were spit on, harassed or just plain forgotten when they returned.

We will honor these veterans by not forgetting their service and sacrifice.

That’s what this corner is all about. Letting Vietnam veterans, some in combat, some in support, tell their stories, in their own words.

Every week we will let a new Baby Boomer tell about their experiences, in Vietnam. We will also have links and information for those interested in learning more about the Vietnam conflict, which, in many ways was uniquly a Boomer War.
