With much of the fighting in the war on terror being fought by the National Guard & military reservists, there is a something happening that is unique to this war: the average age of the soldiers fighting is higher. Of course, most of the fighting is being done by men & women in their 20’s, but they are not the only one’s Baby Boomers are also going in harm’s way.
