Back in 2000 a group of women, turning fifty, decided that it was finally the time in life when they could start wearing floppy red hats and have tea. So they did. Well that little group grew into a world wide phenomenon known as the “Red Hat Society” with more than 40,000 chapters. They’re huge! Well, different strokes for different folks I guess, because there are a lot of Baby Boomer women who would not be caught dead in floppy red hats.
