A Word From Our Reporter

First and foremost, I am a Baby Boomer, born in December,1962 , I was the youngest of seven children, the first child being born in 1946. My parents endured the Great Depression & were forged to fine steel in the crucible that was WWII.
A Classic Baby Boomer Family. Our family literally spanned the Boomer Generation. I got to watch - believe me - with wide eyed amazement as my siblings experienced the incredible social trajectory that the Baby Boomers traveled. And I mean everything: Vietnam, the hippie culture, Jesus freaks (remember them!), acid, the Beatles, disco…The list is endless. I saw it all.
In 1990 I began producing the highly successful, nationally syndicated news-insert called The Senior Report. The Senior Report aired in New York on WWOR, in Los Angeles on KABC & KCBS; it aired in Miami, Seattle, Detroit, Cleveland, St Louis, Orlando, San Diego…Everywhere from Yuba City, California to Presque Isle, Maine. Nearly all of them ABC, NBC, CBS & FOX affiliates
More than 3 million older Americans wrote to us. Over the years this program developed a rapport and trust that excelled almost anything else in syndicated television news.

I produced over 2,000 segments on aging. I have interviewed several Senators, three heads of the Department of Health & Human Services spanning three different administrations, President Clinton’s Chief Economic Advisor Gene Sperling, Congressman Clay Shaw, the then Chairman of the Sub-Committee on Social Security and dozens more congressman and women….All on the subjects of Social Security & Medicare. I interviewed Rosa Parks for two incredible hours. Dozens of forgotten WWII hero’s were able to tell their stories to a national audience through this report. I interviewed aging experts from all across the U.S.; we covered fraud, elder abuse, lifestyle issue’s and much more.
I bring all of this life and professional experience to the table with this report. I'm going to give to the audience a finely crafted, well written and uniquely delivered vignette. You will love the story telling and appreciate the “News You Can Use” approach. I will go the extra mile to give, not only the story, but the resource information that makes this information actionable, usable and valuable.
